Sign Regulations

Information Required for Applications


Unless the Development Officer specifies that any one or more of the following items need not be sent, the following information is required:
  • Legal description of the land on which the sign is to be located
  • Municipal address (if any)
  • The distance from the property lines, street intersections, sidewalks, buildings
  • All dimensions of the sign structure, including the height and projection of any signs attached to buildings
  • The area and design of the copy face
  • The manner of illumination and/or animation
  • The type of construction and finish
  • The method of support or attachment of the sign
