Councillor David Ofrim


Councillor Ofrim is a third generation Camrosian and is serving as an alderman for the first time as a result of the By-election in February of 2015 to replace the vacancy left by Councillor Ray McIssac who passed away in November of 2014.

After graduating from the University of Alberta with a B.Sc. in Engineering, David joined his father in the family owned construction business here in Camrose and then started his own firm, Ofrim Project Management in 1994.

David has served with different community organizations over the years and has been actively involved in minor sports. Presently he sits on the boards of the Battle River Community Foundation, the Camrose Regional Exhibition and the Augustana Neighborhood Association.

In his leisure, David enjoys tennis, snowboarding, hockey and golf. He is married to Karen and they have three sons, Brian, Brad and Jeff.
