In 2019, the City of Camrose and Stantec Consulting completed a review of the traffic signals within the City. Prior to this, the City hadn’t substantially changed its traffic signal plans in over 20 years.
Stantec reviewed the existing pedestrian and traffic signal timings for each of the intersections with signals along 48 Avenue and compared those against current traffic and pedestrian volumes. The City and Stantec then developed five new traffic signal plans to reflect...

From June 1, 2020 until September 30, 2020, get a $70 rebate when you replace your 13L (or more) flush model toilet with an approved low flush model toilet.
The following conditions are required by the City of Camrose before a rebate is approved:
The address in which the toilet is to be installed
Receipt of purchase of a new, approved low-flow model
Pictures of the washroom before and after the installation
Evidence that the old toilet has been made non-functional

The following changes will be implemented at the facility:
At this time, the facility will only be open Monday to Friday 8AM to 4PM. Gates will be closed when the facility is not open. Please do not leave material outside the gates.
The organics area is permanently closed. Separated material is accepted for free at the landfill compost area. Branches and wood waste are $25/t at the landfill burn pit area.
Centra Cam staff will be directing traffic.
