Annually in Canada, National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism is observed on June 23rd.  On this day, flags across Canada are flown at half-mast to commemorate the anniversary of the bombing of Air India Flight 182 off the coast of Ireland, which took place in June 1985 where 329 people died among them 268 Canadians.  All victims of the bombing should be honored including all other acts of terrorist violence that have taken lives of Canadians should be remembered.

City Hall has reopened with new protocols implemented to keep people safe. The main public entrance is now at the east doors and we have sanitization and physical distancing measures in place.
Please note that the new hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. (We are also closed on holidays.)
