MLA Jackie Lovely visited the Camrose Wastewater Treatment facility on July 3, 2020 to announce that the City’s funding application under the Alberta Municipal Water/Wastewater Partnership (AMWWP) program has been approved for $10.2 million for planned upgrades to the facility.
MLA Lovely emphasized the importance of investing in rural Alberta and that the Alberta Government has recently allocated $137 million in AMWWP funding to various water and wastewater projects...

City Hall has reopened with new protocols implemented to keep people safe. The main public entrance is now at the east doors and we have sanitization and physical distancing measures in place.
Please note that the new hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. (We are also closed on holidays.)

At the Regular Council Meeting on June 15th, 2020, Council voted to extend the ban on Garage Sales until further notice in an effort to help protect our community from the spread of COVID-19. We know residents are anxious to host Garage Sales, so we are continuing to examine all options that would allow them to be held safely and will post another update when it is available.
