The City of Camrose is pleased to announce Camrose City Council has passed Bylaw 3341-24 being the Our Camrose, Shaping the Future Municipal Development Plan (MDP). The MDP will be effective as of January 1, 2025. Update to User Fees

At the Regular Council Meeting on December 16, 2024, Council approved a 5% increase in user fees to account for rising costs due to inflation. This includes fees for pool passes, facility rentals, golf, permits, and business licenses (among others).

Recycle Your Christmas Tree!

The City of Camrose has set up a Christmas Tree Recycling Drop-off location at the northeast corner of the Recreation Centre parking lot (signs will be posted). Real trees without decorations or plastic tree bags will be accepted for free until January 31st for recycling. The trees will be chipped and available in the spring for use by residents of Camrose.
Former Council Member, Dale Toogood, Passes Away

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of former Council Member Dale Toogood on December 21, 2024. Dale served as an Alderman from 1992-1998 and Councillor from 1998-2001.
Burgar Funeral Home will oversee the service arrangements. If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Dale's memory may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Church Building Fund or to Catholic Social Services.

Track Passes Will Be Free Starting January 2, 2025!

We are excited to announce that track passes will be free for everyone beginning January 2, 2025. If you already have a paid track pass, you can get a prorated refund:
- Refunds are available only in-person at the Community Services office.
- The Community Services office is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:30pm (closed on holidays).
- The last day to request a refund is June 1, 2025.
