Stoney Creek Sinkhole Update

Our crews have expanded the fenced-off area around the sinkhole in the valley by the Stoney Creek Centre. (The sinkhole formed due to a storm sewer pipe failure.) Please stay out of this area as the recent rain events have caused the area to become unstable.
Materials for the repair have been ordered and a contractor has been hired to complete the work; however, this work isn't scheduled to start until mid-September.
