Camrose Women's Shelter |
The Camrose Women's Shelter has a 24 hour crisis line and outreach program that supports women and their families during crisis, assists with personal safety planning, and makes referrals to other agencies. The outreach program supports families from the shelter and works with other families living in Camrose and surrounding communities who require support and information in dealing with family violence. The Camrose Police Service Trauma and Crime Support Services Unit (CPS-TCSS) is made up of specially trained case-workers who work closely with the Camrose Police Service and the RCMP, to provide trauma-informed support to people who are affected by a crime, or in a traumatic situation.
