We are excited to announce a new program being run all summer – Park Pop Ups!

Join us every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am or 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm for FREE, fun, family focused activities and crafts in parks around town. This program is designed to get families outside and learn new skills and activities through guided crafts and games. Families will also be provided with the opportunity to engage with other families while still following all necessary safety protocols.

For families with children 12 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult. City staff and volunteers are not responsible for the supervision of your children as they are only there to run the program.

The safety of yourself and your family is our first priority. Our program will:

  • Implement procedures to minimize the risk of transmission of infection amongst attendees
  • Implement procedures for rapid response if an attendee develops symptoms of illness
  • Ensure that attendees maintain high levels of sanitation and personal hygiene
  • Comply with all guidelines put into place by Alberta Health Services; all staff and volunteers onsite will be trained to use required safety and sanitation procedures.

All Park Pop Ups will provide safe and sanitized materials and equipment for users. In addition, every activity will allow for safe social distancing and will limit any physical contact.

Maximum of 50 participants. All programs will have a maximum of 50 attendees on a first come first serve basis. Participants must sign in at the City of Camrose tent upon arrival.
