Co-op Week Proclamation

Co-op Week is celebrated annually to raise awareness of the contributions made by the co-operative business sector. Co-operatives help build strong communities by offering essential goods and services, supporting economic development, creating employment opportunities, and promoting social responsibility.

The Alberta Community and Co-operative Association continues to support these organizations in their efforts to ensure a sustainable future for our province.

The City of Camrose is proud to recognize the vital role co-operatives and credit unions play in our community and across Alberta. Therefore, Mayor PJ Stasko, on behalf of Camrose City Council, has officially proclaimed October 12–18, 2025 as Co-op Week in Camrose.
