FREE Bus Rides, Starting July 2nd!

Following a recommendation from the Community Transit Advisory Committee, Council approved the elimination of bus fares, starting on July 2nd, in alignment with the launch of the new route.

By not charging bus fares, we hope to:

• Help eliminate barriers to transit use
• Reduce the risks to drivers by eliminating the need to handle cash or have cash on board
• Reduce administrative costs associated with managing cash
• Reduce infrastructure costs required to transition to a cashless system

Currently, the fare to ride the Camrose Community Bus is $2.00 one way, with an option to use a Transit Token for a round trip.
