We are pleased to share that conditions across Camrose continue to improve and the City's emergency response is beginning to wind down.
The Wastewater Treatment Plant and South Lift Station have returned to normal operation, and the City's Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) has now been deactivated. While the emergency response has ended, City crews will continue inspections, repairs, cleanup, and monitoring in the days ahead.
Jubilee Park has now reopened! Most of the park is now safe to use. However, a few small areas beside the creek will remain fenced off while they continue to dry out and staff continue to monitor conditions. Please respect all fencing, barricades, and signs, and stay out of these closed areas.
Camrose residents will begin receiving curbside recycling collection starting October 1, 2026 as part of Alberta’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program, managed by Circular Materials.

The City of Camrose's new online e-permitting system is now live!
Beginning May 5, 2026, and going through until October, Marler Drive, from east of 65 Street to 68 Street, will be undergoing major reconstruction.
Pruning of Elm Trees is restricted from April 1 to September 30 every year.
This year, residents will see a larger increase on their property tax bill than usual. A significant portion of that increase is due to the provincial education property tax set by the Province of Alberta.
Starting in March 2026, utility bills and account statements will have an updated format with a cleaner layout and some additional information.
