Hospice and palliative care support dignity, comfort, and choice, while caregivers, volunteers, and healthcare professionals play a vital role in providing support.

Recognizing the importance of compassionate, person-centred care for individuals and families facing life-limiting illness, such as that championed by The Hospice Society of Camrose and District, Mayor PJ Stasko thereby proclaims May 3-9, 2026, as Hospice and Palliative Care Week throughout the City of Camrose.
