Indigenous Survivors Day 2026 Proclamation

Indigenous Survivors Day provides an important opportunity for reflection, education, and dialogue. It encourages the community to deepen understanding of the ongoing impacts of colonialism and the experiences of Indigenous survivors, while honouring the knowledge, culture, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples.

Therefore Mayor PJ Stasko on behalf of Camrose City Council, hereby proclaims June 30, 2026 as Indigenous Survivors Day in the City of Camrose.
