Organic Waste Collection Switching to Biweekly in November
Starting after the week of November 2, organics collection will move to a biweekly schedule. Following collection during the week of November 2, the next pickup will occur the week of November 16, with collection continuing every other week throughout the winter. Weekly organics collection will resume in May.
What goes in your organics cart?
Accepted items include:
- Leaves, weeds, and grass clippings
- Fruits, vegetables, and peelings
- Coffee grounds and filters
- Food-soiled paper towels, napkins, and pizza boxes
- Cold ashes from untreated wood
Recycling Update
Paper egg cartons, newspaper, and cardboard can now be placed in your curbside recycling bag.
