Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Proclamation

1 in 8 Canadian men are expected to be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. 

Almost all prostate cancer is treatable and, in many cases, it can be eliminated – particularly when it is diagnosed early.

Therefore, Mayor PJ Stasko, on behalf of Camrose City Council, does hereby proclaim September 2026 as "Prostate Cancer Awareness Month" in the City of Camrose.
