Residential Water Use Restrictions Lifted

Residential water use restrictions have now been lifted, and residents may return to regular water use!

Flows at the City’s South Lift Station have returned to normal levels following the heavy rainfall over the past several days. City crews continue to work on our storage ponds to help make sure the system is ready for the next rainfall.

While conditions have improved, residents are reminded to use caution around stormwater ponds and low-lying areas. Ground near these areas may still be soft or unstable, even where water levels have gone down.

We sincerely appreciate the understanding and cooperation shown by residents while the wastewater system was under pressure. Every effort to reduce nonessential water use helped make a difference.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our City crews, who worked incredibly hard throughout the last couple of days and nights to monitor conditions, protect critical infrastructure, and help keep our community safe.
