Canada Day Update

Our team has been closely monitoring the weather forecast and, with the safety of our residents, staff, volunteers, performers, vendors, and attendees as our top priority, we have made the decision to move the majority of our Canada Day celebrations indoors to the Max McLean Arena.

The good news? You'll still enjoy all the same great entertainment and activities! Join us indoors for live performances, food trucks, the tipi experience, FITset Ninja, and a full day of family fun.

A few activities will remain at their original locations:

  • Pancake Breakfast – Camrose Field House
  • Powwow! Ohcîwin: The Origins Exhibit – Camrose & District Centennial Museum Main Building

This change may also result in road closures being adjusted and parking locations being reconfigured. Please watch for event signage and follow the direction of staff and volunteers who will be on-site to help guide traffic and parking.

There will be lots to see, lots to experience, and plenty of ways to celebrate Canada Day together, rain or shine!

At this time, the 11:00 p.m. fireworks at Rudy Swanson Park are still scheduled to proceed as planned. We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates if anything changes. Any updates regarding the fireworks will be shared on the City of Camrose Facebook page and through Voyent Alert.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to celebrating Canada Day with you!
