Skateboard Park
The skateboard park is located immediately north of the Community Centre at 4516-54 Street, on the Rudy Swanson Recreation Park grounds (53 Street and 44 Avenue).
Assisted by the generosity of the Camrose Rotary Club and others, the skateboard park was completed in the spring of 2004 and provides boarders a place to challenge their skills. Designed with the direct input of local boarders and consisting of a variety of bowls, rails, ramps, pipes, stairs, and other features, the skateboard park was designed for both novice and experienced boarders.
Rules
- The use of safety equipment (including helmet, knee/elbow pads, and wrist guards) is highly recommended. The chance of injury increases significantly if safety equipment is not worn.
- The skateboard park is designed for skateboards, in-line skates, and BMX bikes only. Mountain bikes are not allowed.
- There is no age limit for the use of the skateboard park but please use it to your own skill level. The facility is not supervised, caution is advised, and when you use it, you do so at your own risk.
