These change rooms are used by people preparing for their ice time and fit approximately 20 people. They are used for public skating, figure skating, and minor hockey. 6 rooms are located at the Spectator Events Arena and 6 are located at the User Arena.

The 3-lane, rubberized walking track is used by over 7,500 people every year and is free to use. It is located in the Spectator Events Arena and open during the colder months. Members of the public, Primary Care Network clients, and athletes from the University of Alberta use this track.

Meeting Room 1204 is a multipurpose room that is bright and welcoming equipped with flexible seating arrangements suitable for a variety of meetings and uses. It can host up to 75 people with presentation equipment and a kitchenette space for refreshments.

The flex dressing rooms are used in addition to the other change rooms with 3 at the User Arena and 3 at the Spectator Events Arena. They are a little bit smaller than the other dressing rooms and lead directly to the ice instead of to the players’ benches. They have benches and a bathroom, but no showers.

The viewing area at the aquatic centre is used during lessons to provide parents and spectators a dry spot to wait comfortably. The viewing area is located near the leisure pool with the kids play area and lazy river.

The steam room is a popular feature for patrons of the Mayer Aquatic Centre. The steam room has averaged over 95% availability and is a very reliable feature. Renovated in 2020, you could be the first to name this feature!

This room is located near the lap pool and rented out for birthday parties and training. It comfortably fits 20 people with various table and chair configurations.

This room is located by the lobby of the Mayer Aquatic Centre and is set up as a classroom for up to 8 people. It is used to host courses for Aquatic Centre staff and rented for courses by external groups.

This extra space at the Aquatics Centre is used during special events and as an extra room for birthday parties and other rentals. Kin Room 2 is also used by the football teams as a change space for practices and games at the nearby fields.

The water slide is a fun, family-friendly feature designed for safe and splash-filled excitement. The slide twists down into a dedicated trough rather than the main pool, allowing swimmers of all ages to enjoy the ride comfortably. Renovated in 2020, you could be the first to name this feature!

The Tournament Meeting Room is located on the second floor near the User Arena. It is equipped with a TV, projector and screen, and seating for up to 10 people. This room is used by Recreation Centre staff and during minor hockey tournaments.
