NEW: The Mayer Aquatic Centre is introducing Parents Day for all Preschool & Swimmer levels offered in our regular lesson session! We are inviting parents to join their children in the water on Parents Day, which will always be on the 4th lesson day of a regular session. By joining your child in their swimming lesson, you will be able to gain a better understanding of your child’s skill level and learn from the instructor tips how to help your child practice to improve / enhance their abilities. We look forward to seeing you join your child’s lesson on their Parent’s Day!
In alignment with the Canadian Red Cross, we transitioned our Red Cross swimming lessons and water safety training in 2022 to the “Swim for Life” program offered by the Lifesaving Society!
The Swim for Life program is designed to provide participants with the swimming skills and strokes that provide a lifelong basis for safe, enjoyable and healthy participation in aquatic recreation, fitness or sport.
