The City of Camrose is centrally located in Alberta, amidst some of the highest producing agricultural lands in the area. With a population of just under 20,000 and trading area of 100,000, Camrose is a regional hub for work, services & amenities, recreation, and entertainment.

The Economic Development department is responsible for managing, coordinating, and promoting economic development opportunities in the City of Camrose.

Workforce Development
The City of Camrose has two post-secondary institutions offering training and education to over 1,000 students each year. There are over 3,000 students enrolled in K-12 studies in Camrose between 11 schools.
Incentives
Camrose has a strong agriculture cluster with over 625,000 acres of cropland in the surrounding area (Camrose County). The City of Camrose and Camrose County have established a tax-sharing agreement which is the first of its kind in this region
