The Camrose storm sewer system helps to stop flooding. It does this by removing rainwater and snowmelt. The collected water gets drained into Camrose Creek through the storm sewers. The system has more than 50 km of pipe ranging in size from 300 mm to 2100 mm. Most of the rainwater and snowmelt flows by gravity into Camrose Creek.
