The City of Camrose provides water, sewer, recycling, and garbage services to residents of the City. When you move to a new address in Camrose as a homeowner or as a renter you will need to sign up for these services.

Renter of Commercial Property |
Tenants (renters) will need to provide their lease or rental agreement, photo ID, and pay a minimum $357.00, a deposit equal to 3 months of estimated billing charges, or an amount deemed necessary (paid by cash, debit, or credit card) along with the completed Commercial Rental Utility Application. A phone number must be provided for us to call and get payment for the deposit. The deposit must be paid in full before the account will be set up. |
Renter of Residential Property |
Tenants (renters) will need to provide their lease or rental agreement, photo ID and a $357.00 deposit (paid by cash, debit or credit card) along with the completed Residential Rental Utility Application. A phone number must be provided for us to call and get payment for the deposit. The deposit must be paid in full before the account will be set up. Please note that there is an additional "High-Risk Fee" of $735.00 to be applied to accounts for which a shut-off has occurred. |
Cancel Utilities
To cancel a utility service, you must complete the Utility Disconnect form here.
Paperless Billing
You can sign up to receive your utility bill via email by completing the Paperless Utility Bill Sign Up form. (Signing up for paperless billing only applies to future bills. Bill dates are the 20th of each month, so please sign up prior to the 16th to have it reflected on the next bill.)
Bill Payment Options
- Mail your cheque payable to the City of Camrose, 5204 – 50 Avenue, Camrose, Alberta, T4V 0S8 (please do not send cash).
- Using our mail drop box located at the front entrance at City Hall.
- At most banks either in person or online.
- Pay in person at City Hall (5204 – 50 Avenue) Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed from 12:00 – 1:00 PM) by using Debit Card, Visa or Mastercard, cash or cheque.
- Sign up for pre-authorized payment plan by completing the Pre-Authorized Utility Payment Plan form and attaching either a void cheque or the banking transaction sheet from your bank. Drop it off at City Hall, mail it, or fax it to us at 780.672.2469. Your payment will be debited from your bank account on the billing due date.
- Visit PaySimply (www.paysimply.ca), our secure third-party payment provider, to pay online with any major credit card (Visa, MC, Amex). Please allow 5 business days in advance of the due date as 5 business days are required for processing. Note: A convenience fee will be applied to cover payment handling and processing charges.
