The City of Camrose provides water, sewer, recycling, and garbage services to residents of the City. When you move to a new address in Camrose as a homeowner or as a renter you will need to sign up for these services.

Sign up for Utilities

Home Owner/Commercial Owner of Property

The owner of a property can complete the Homeowner Utility Application here. 

Renter of Commercial Property

Tenants(renters) will need to provide their lease or rental agreement, photo ID, and pay a minimum $300, a deposit equal to 3 months of estimated billing charges, or an amount deemed necessary (paid by cash, debit, or credit card) along with the completed Commercial Rental Utility Application. A phone number must be provided for us to call and get payment for the deposit. The deposit must be paid in full before the account will be set up.

Renter of Residential Property

Tenants (renters) will need to provide their lease or rental agreement, photo ID and a $300 dollar deposit (paid by cash, debit or credit card) along with the completed Residential Rental Utility Application. A phone number must be provided for us to call and get payment for the deposit. The deposit must be paid in full before the account will be set up.

Paperless Billing

You can sign up to receive your utility bill via email by completing the Paperless Utility Bill Sign Up form.

Cancel Utilities

To cancel a utility service, you must complete the Utility Disconnect form here.

Paying Your Utility Bill

Set up Pre-Authorized Payment Plan

To set up for the pre-authorized payment you must complete the Pre-Authorized Utility Payment Plan form, attach either a void cheque or the banking transaction sheet from your bank and email it to utilities@camrose.ca or drop it off at City Hall.

Pay Utility Bills Online by Credit Card, PayPal or Interac eTransfer

Visit PaySimply, our secure third party payment provider, to pay online with any major credit card (Visa, MC, Amex), PayPal or Interac eTransfer.

To ensure your payment is not late, please pay at least 5 business days in advance of the due date because 5 business days are required for processing. Note: A convenience fee will be applied to cover payment handling and processing charges.

Pay Utility Bills In-person by Debit Card or Cash at Canada Post

Visit PaySimply, our secure third party payment provider, to generate a QR code to take with you to Canada Post with your payment.

To ensure your payment is not late, please pay at least 5 business days in advance of the due date because 5 business days are required for processing. Note: A convenience fee will be applied to cover payment handling and processing charges.
