The City of Camrose is a perfect balance of urban and rural environments. There is always something to do - from our many festivals, special events, attractions, and recreation and leisure opportunities. Camrose has it all!

The Community Services Department is made up of the following six distinct departments that provide services to the citizens of Camrose:

  • Community Services Administration Office
The Administration office is located in the Recreation Centre at 4412 – 56 Street. As the hub of the Community Services department, all phone calls and concerns originate through this office. Staff are also responsible for facility bookings/schedules, clerical duties including accounts payable, receivables and payroll for the majority of the department. If you’re looking to rent a city facility, call the office at 780.672.9195. Track passes, garden plots, gift certificates, shinny hockey passes, and cemetery plots are just a few of the items that can be purchased at the admin office.
  • Golf Course
The Camrose Golf Course is a great place to go spend some leisurely time. With 18 holes of golf, a Proshop, a Kiosk, and a Beverage Cart to cater to your needs. If you are interested in learning how to golf or playing in a league, check out camrose.ca/golf. Need golf gear? Check out the variety of items at the Proshop!
  • Facilities
The Facilities department are the group of staff that take care of all the city recreation facilities. From the Recreation Centre to the Community Centre, the ball diamonds to the soccer pitches, the beach volleyball courts to the tennis courts, pickleball courts and football field, the outdoor gym and the Stoney Creek Centre, it all keeps the staff very busy.
  • Mayer Aquatic Centre
The Mayer Aquatic Centre has many activities available for all ages. From swimming lessons to exercise classes, relaxing in the hot tub/steam room to floating down the lazy river, going for a swim or just going for a workout in our gym, it’s all available at your convenience. From Victoria Day to Labor Day weekend the Spray Park is operational, free of charge, for those that want to cool down on a hot summer’s day. The Aquatic Centre also provides rooms to rent for meetings or birthday parties.
  • Parks
