The Chuck MacLean Arts Centre is proud to be a hub for artistic expression, hosting a variety of art shows that showcase the incredible talent within our community and beyond. Our art shows provide a platform for both emerging and established artists to exhibit their work, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience art in its many forms.

TREX: Traveling Art Exhibition, "Between the Lines"

Join us at the Chuck MacLean Arts Centre from August 4 to August 26 for Between the Lines, a captivating TREX (Travelling Exhibition) showcase featuring the work of three contemporary artists who transform writing, symbols, and calligraphy into powerful visual art. Through diverse artistic styles and cultural traditions, the exhibition explores how simple lines and marks can carry deep emotional, personal, and cultural meaning.

Featured artists Maomeii Be, Eunju Park, and Michael Kíre use influences from Arabic, Chinese, and Korean calligraphy, traditional paper arts, and abstract mark-making to create unique works that blur the boundaries between language and visual expression.
