Councillor Ilg is happily married to his high school sweetheart Lana (Pewar), who is a high school teacher in Wetaskiwin, and he is father to two amazing children, Jayven and Hadley. Sports are his passion, and he also enjoy camping, music, and meeting new people. He loves helping others and supporting his community the most.
